Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5© is our trade-copying solution for copying and managing trades between multiple MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 terminals running on the same Windows computer or VPS.

It supports:

Our Approach to Trade Copying

Our approach to trade-copying software focuses on giving the trader control over what happens on each Receiver account.

Different trading accounts do not always have the same balance, broker, symbols, contract specifications or risk requirements. For this reason, simply duplicating every Transmitter trade with identical settings may not be appropriate for every multi-account setup.

Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5© therefore provides Receiver-side controls that allow traders to adapt copied trades to the requirements of each account.

This includes flexible lot sizing and risk options, trade filtering, symbol mapping, trade-management controls and account-protection settings.

We also use the terms Transmitter and Receiver throughout Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5© rather than the older terminology still found in some trade-copying software. These terms directly describe the role of each side of the copying process: the Transmitter sends the trading information and the Receiver receives it.

Our aim is to make multi-account trade copying configurable, understandable and practical while leaving control of the trading setup with the user.

Local Trade Copier EA MT4/5© is designed for a variety of multi-account configurations, from traders managing a small number of personal MetaTrader accounts to more complex setups involving multiple terminals, brokers and Receiver accounts.

The software can be used for manual trades or trades opened by Expert Advisors, while each Receiver can be configured according to its own trading environment and risk requirements.

Because broker execution, network conditions, computer or VPS performance and MetaTrader workload can differ between setups, we avoid treating trade-copying communication speed as the same thing as broker execution speed.

Under suitable local conditions, trade-copying communication can occur in under 0.5 seconds, while actual order execution remains dependent on the brokers and trading environment involved.

Each activation applies to one Windows computer or VPS, rather than to an individual MetaTrader account or terminal. Multiple MetaTrader terminals and accounts can therefore run on the same activated Windows computer or VPS using a single activation.
